Character Name: Carson J. Sanders Age: 53 Occupation: City Bus Driver Sexuality: Asexual (Seriously, he's too awkward to form relationships with any gender) Power: Levitation
Personality Positive Traits: Friendly, sharp, truthful, witty, intelligent, well mannered, gentle, big hearted, curious, thoughtful, very positive Negative Traits: Socially awkward, blunt at times, nervous, tends to chatter on and on about strange things, weirds people out at times, terrible sense of humor Strengths: He's good at figuring things out and solving puzzles. Carson is good with things like Sudoko and extremely observant when it comes to his surroundings. Weaknesses: Human relationships are something he's never gotten quite right. His father was socially awkward so he too became socially awkward. Even his friendships are strained at times because he speaks about some of the most awkward things at the worst times. Brief Summary: Over all Carson is filled with good intentions. However he has trouble expressing them due to his lack of social tact. He's extremely truthful which leads him to be painfully blunt at times which then turns a lot of people who try to carry conversations with him off. This leaves him extremely lonely with only puzzles to solve. Carson finds great joy in doing math and trying to find the answers to every day wonders. Though when someone finally cracks his nervous, jittery and awkward surface they're sure to find the sweet, caring man Carson is and always has been.
He's extremely loyal to those he befriends because there are so very few of them and finds himself wishing for public validation. Carson has some issues with depression and an extremely low self esteem but through it all he keeps going, trying to make something out of himself.
History Family: Washington Sanders (Father, deceased), Rose Lyle (Mother, whereabouts unknown), Sparky (His 10 year old Dalmation)
Brief Summary:
Carson was a Boston boy at heart, born September of 1955 to Rose Lyle - a 20 year old who had been vacationing in Boston. She'd become pregnant by a boyfriend whom had visited her in California and had returned to Boston to find the man. Washington Sanders was 32 years old when his young girlfriend had their child. Rose couldn't take it after a couple months and left both her baby and boyfriend behind, never to be heard from again.
Washington was a man of science, specially an engineer of all trades. He was an intelligent man and had met Carson's mother online. Yes, he was disappointed when she left but instead of focusing on that he turned to his son. Carson was brought up by a very loving - if a bit eccentric - father. When he was old enough, Washington home schooled the boy and soon enough little Carson was a spitting image of his father, social awkwardness an all.
His father allowed him to attend high school for a year where he was teased for being so tall, scrawny and strange which in turn encouraged him to simply flee back to the safe home schooled life he knew so well. However he attended college at the University of Massachusetts and graduated with a bachelors in Human Biology and a minor degree in technical engineering. He worked where he could get jobs and eventually at age 49 found himself able to retire thanks to the generous sum of money his father left him after he passed.
Now, for fun, he is a city bus driver merely because he likes being around people who don't really have any expectations.
